Well, if you put all your cash in your mattress and buy guns and dogs and security systems (soldiers?...wait, you can't trust other humans)...
But hold on, that's not even good because the government can fall and cash can plument.
So it must be gold. Well that's no good either because it's just a "standard" and if the world discovers something better...

Welcome to the world of civilization, man. Without your tribe, you will hunt animals and pick fruit by yourself. Try taming a wild horse. Wait there aren't any anymore. And don't trespass with a gun. Some hick might shoot you before you find game.

Then again, you prolly wouldn't know all this because you're likely a city slicker who thinks the everything arround you was always there and grew out of the ground to support your life of buying XBox titles and microwave hotpockets.

    That's deep, man

Yeah, I agree that it is crazy how many online companies that I have given my debit card info, social security, and other info to. I don't even keep track.

I guess that it is just the sacrifice that must be made as we enter the technology/cloud decade.

Hint: Use trusted (at least a little bit) websites like Paypal, and Google Checkout, for personal information give-a-ways.

It make sense though. I mean like you said, you give your info everywhere. Even here, you give your email, password, and all of that. In the right hands someone can use your email and get everything. With complete info or not.

However, if you aren't stupid, you won't give your info around all willie-nillie. There are very few places I use my account info (credit, bank, REAL email) and I intend to keep it that way. Common sense makes smart sense.

Yeah, because you know me oh so well, and the world came from the fridge fyi.

Also, you're missing the point, I'm in no way saying that you should be paranoid and never talk to any human because you can't trust them.
What I'm saying is that society is ignorant (that includes you and me), we believe what we want to believe or what we're told be believe.

Do you know if the milk from the grocery really is milk? Were you present at the time of the tapping and whatever-they-do-to-milk-processing?

Were Haiti ever hit by an earthquake? Is people really dying?

If I told you that the Illuminati pulled their strings from Atlantis which were located underneath Australia, would you believe me? Why not?

If a policeman were to ask me my social security number, without knowing why, I'd probably give it to him, now why would I do that?

It seems the part in our brain where we consider consequences from our actions has been sent on vacation and been replaced by belief. The important thing to consider here is, where do we get belief from? Who tells us to believe?

I believe policemen has the right to take me in costity against my will.

I believe if teachers say it is, it is.

It's fun :3 Though, my vocabulary can in no way be matched to Alex's.

All this is something I like thinking about, because I believe it's true, society has lost it's way.

One man cannot create a society, a society needs a people.
Just as society is dependant of the people, the people is dependant of society.

And now that we're at it, all this democracy bullshit is pissing me off. Why? I already told you that society is ignorant, and by society I mean everyone, the people, the leaders etc.

    To stay on-topic:

Yes, I'll probably give all my information to OnLive and any other service that asks for it.

In the end, it's nothing but letters and numbers (; Letters and numbers pointing at me as an individual by the system, aka society, which I don't really believe in anyways.

Though I despite society, I'm still a part of it, and to some extend I'll play my role of society, because that's how it is. Until I maybe one day, will choose to go my own way, who knows.
