Crash Time 3 Controller layout help.

Game seem pretty cool, if perhaps featuring the most hilariously bad voice acting EVER in a game. My headache comes with setting up the controller. The default scheme is terrible. Face buttons for acceraleration and braking, yikes. So I tried to tune it in the options, and I get symbols I do not understand when setting it up. Managed to map acceleration to the Left Bumper and brake to the Right (it just feels weird). Plus I cannot close out the world map, forcing me to restart the game every time I inadvertantly open it. Has anyone figured out a decent scheme for the controller. Or am I wasting my time with this game. Thanks all for any assistance. BTW, any other help with the finer details of this game would be great.

I used A as gas and X as break (using the triggers always ends up backwards) B as hand break. Back as map, start as menu RT as gun fire, LT as action L3 as sirens Y is change view I think I can't remember what I have for RB and LB

Thanks Pinesal, I'll just mimic what buttons you used, shame cant use the triggers for gas and brake.

Thanks, I may have to go back to that default layout, maybe I'll look online for some other help getting the layout down. I'll let you guys know what I find
