GameKeyboard not working with Street Fighter is OnLive/Capcoms fault. There's nothing the GameKeyboard developers can do to make that work. The issue isn't exclusive to that app. Need to contact OnLive or Capcom

Personally, I don't need buttons to light up. Start and Select would be highly welcomed though. Programming the ability to rearrange and evrn resize buttons is not difficult. Look at all of the native Android and iOS games that let you move and resize buttons. I've even developed the same myself. That's just lazy on their part, especially for a paid app they raised the price on once people started using it with OnLive. I'll fault em for that one. Plus their qwerty mode is unreliable in games.

Default GameKeyboard App emulates Onlive gamepad

    https://market.android.com/details?i...keyboard&hl=en

This app brings up touch gamepad over any app and it now has basic Onlive gamepad emulation.

This sort of works but has some major problems at the moment. Mostly, it doesn't emulate analog sticks as far as i can tell and I can figure out how to map the LB and RB buttons. I sent the dev an email for more info.

I was able to play Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi since they just use a few buttons and can be played with the D-pad. Also any of the simpler games like Braid and Shatter should be perfectly playable.

We should keep an eye on this app, if they can add analog stick emulation this would be amazing.

Here is an interesting comment they made about supporting the L and R triggers. LB and RB are working, I had the two sets of shoulder buttons backwards.

Unfortunately it is not a matter of how the game make use of the buttons
but how the game detect the buttons, games supporting analog triggers
(such as Onlive) usually only look for the analog data which is not emulated
    by GameKeyboard.

Btw, Onlive did support 2 more digital buttons (ThumbL & ThumbR), we
will enable them in next update.
They also said they are working on Analog stick support.

If they can support the analog stick, they can support the triggers, though. Theyr'e basically the same things. May require root, tho.

Actually, I dunno how they'd get analog support on Gingerbread. It'd be Honeycomb+.

Their latest update now adds BluezIME support. I haven't tried it out yet though I've been meaning to.

You could actually already play Braid with it and a number of other games. See my post: http://onlivefans.com/showthread.php...on-Android-App
Without analog sticks, some games (like Red Faction: G, FEARs, Prince of Persias) still play better with OnLive Mode turned off. But what you might be able to do with the latest BluezIME addition to GameKeyboard is instead of setting camera controls to the right side touch buttons, set it to an analog stick on your controller.

F.E.A.R. 2 can work with GameKeyboard but there's a serious lack of buttons. You CAN press ESC pressing BACK multiple times to get out to the menu. There really isn't anything in the pause menu that you need to get to though. The button issue has to deal with assigning camera controls in the way I did Red Faction: Geurilla, a la PSP style. It works great, but takes up a lot of buttons (mouse is too wacky and sensitive to be usable for camera or for left-click firing). You need crouch and jump to pass the first mission, which takes away buttons you might need for MedKit, Flashlight, Player Status, Interact etc. Until someone comes up with a workaround, put this one temporarily on the backburner. Maybe there are some buttons we can go without (like with Red Faction), but I'm not familiar enough with the game to know. It *IS* playable, but practical is questionable right now.

    Jongjungbu,

You seem to have figured out how to play F.E.A.R. 2 on a tablet/phone on OnLive. I was wondering how you were able to do that. Could you please give me your GameKeyboard layout or at least tell me how you managed to get the left mouse click firing to work?

    Thanks for your help

    BTW, I am using:
    Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus
    Sixaxis Controller App
    GameKeyboard App

I've downloaded the GameKeyboard but can't seem to get it up whenever I start OnLive. I've set my volume button to bring it up but, in the service, it never works. Has anyone had this issue before and know of a solution? I'm using a MyTouch 4G. I'm also unsure which button layout to use. I had thought they had one specific to OnLive but I don't know which. Anyone know? Thanks.

Hey, I double-checked and I don't appear to have a F.E.A.R. 2 profile saved in GameKeyboard, Sorry. But, I do recall that in order to look and fire properly, you need to go into Options->Key Bindings and set all mouse options to keyboard or gamepad keys. So for Fire, change from a mouse-click to say "J" and then assign one of the GameKeyboard/Sixaxis buttons to J. And for turning left/right, look up/down, set these to keyboard keys/gamepad buttons as well which you assign to your buttons or stick or what have you. It's a bit easier to setup the initial bindings through OnLive on your PC while you set the same in GameKeyboard, before you load up OnLive on the tablet.

One option you could try to get GameKeyboard to come up is load up GameKeyboard but leave it at the initial screen where the last option says to exit and load up the keyboard. Load up OnLive, then press and hold your Home button to bring up recent apps. Pick GameKeyboard, and then pick that last option to load up the keyboard when you exit. This should bring OnLive back up but with the GameKeyboard controller up as well. This is how I usually have to get it to run with OnLive.
