An OnLive Web Browser to Make Mobile and Internet Connections Faster – Coming This Summer

Today at the E3, Steve Perlman talked about an internet browser that will be released for OnLive this summer sometime. What it will do is allow any OnLive connected TV, the OnLive MicroConsole, or any Tablet, Smartphone or iPad that has OnLive on it, to connect and browse the internet.

It doesn’t stop here though. Everything will be streamed from OnLive’s 10 gigabit/second server, making it the first full featured cloud based browser for TV’s, and mobile devices. According to OnLive, this will enable you to browse the internet, play Flash (including Flash based games), and stream videos from Netflix, and other websites at blazing fast speeds. If it is as good as it sounds, we will no longer have to worry about our slow mobile or land based local connections. Everything will be loaded from OnLive’s ultra fast 10 gigabit/second servers.

Check out some videos of Steve Perlman showing off this browser app below.

Will it change the way we browse the internet? Let us know what you think of this new OnLive web browser at OnLiveFans.com Forum
