Onlive is international?

Greetings all.

When I was searching the internet for netbook games, I came across OnLive. This sounded great, even with its not so quick responses. I would greatly enjoy the number of games available at the moment to be played on my netbook or hd tv. Not to mention I have a fast internet speed! :razz:

So... I'm here in Holland (Den Haag) searching on the internet which locations are OnLive and which are OffLive. So far it seems that Onlive is American only.

So, where can I a source of information that is continuely up to date concerning the locations of OnLive. I've read about plans for Englands and Belgium, but none of the artiles I've read mentioned date of writing, neither release date of plans.

What do you guys know about this? The billing options for Onlive is Credit card only, which is typical for American only businesses. Billing information sign up required you to enter a state that is all American and no european selection of locations are available for choosing. Will we ever be able to have more billing options besides credit card? Personally I use iDeal internet banking.

If I can not make use of OnLive services for now, when will it be avalaible for my country, The Netherlands? Or when do you expect it to be available. Is it possible to use OnLive services of America outside of Amercia? For example europe. Or will it be unplayable.

Finally got around to recording a new video showing the service (kind of) running on a PSP, with being able to use the PSP buttons to control actions. The video should answer any questions.

I thought this was awesome, so I am posting it.

After getting the 50th playmate in Mafia II, I created a brag clip of my zooming in and out on the nipples in time with the dramatic music. It very quickly moved up to the front page of brag clips sorted by "average user rating."

Almost as quickly, it got a bunch of imitations. other brag clips zooming in and out on nipples, or just zooming in and scrolling through.

THEN, TODAY, IT WAS GONE!! you can still see some of the imitations by going to mafia 2 brag clips and sorting by average user rating.

they were right to delete it. I am only upset that I can no longer prove that I was the first person on OnLive to be completely immature and post a brag clip of nipples.

just logged on and thats the message that greeted me. nothing about voice yet. i dont have any other mp games (and dont feel like going through demos) so are in chat txt options available in them?

Yes, Duke Nukem Forever will finally be released in 2011. Borderlands developer Gearbox is finishing the game and 2K Games is the publisher.

I was looking at the account page today and notice that my "Membership Plan" is "12 Months Free Service". Well, since there's a plan indicator there, it may refer to how long of a membership you have or it could also mean that there will be tiered memberships in the future. Just putting this here for speculation, so speculate. (:

Onlive Hiding Bad News & Deleting Comments

Hi Guys,
So Kane & Lynch 2.... It's now had multiplayer delayed for a 2nd time with no advance notice. Onlive marketed K&L2 with no mention of the crippled functionality literally right through the VP of games &media's post 4 hours before the midnight launch, and now this latest delay was announced to people who purchased the game only (I think, can someone who didn't purchase it confirm that they recieved no mailer about the further delay?) and even that info wasn't released until the day AFTER it was scheduled to go live (Supposed to be turned on the 31st, delay announced the 1st of September)

Erm.... Does anybody else think this is not OK? They must have known about this delay at least days beforehand, and they must have known about the first delay weeks beforehand. I tried to post a comment to the Onlive blog about this when it first happened and it was deleted before they allowed it to be posted - Has anyone else had a similar experience?

This feels like a trend to me, and I'm pretty damn unhappy about that. Heres what I wrote on this blog post, anybody think it was so bad it needed to be deleted?

community features already present/being built into Onlive that there would

receive the free game offer and, since I was already going to buy this game
on one of my other platforms thought I would take advantage of it.

multiplayer will be added on the 31st � Is this correct? Have you announced
this publicly?.

This isn�t even an issue with price, and if it was the free game would more
than cover it. This is an issue of my feeling like you�ve been dishonest

level. When I buy a playpass with your company, I do it with the expectation
that I will be kept up to date on when those games will no longer be
available, be kept abreast of any major downtime that should be expected,
and be told honestly and accurately what my game will contain.

More importantly, I have the expectation that if there is bad news, I will
be informed of it in a timely manner so I can make my purchasing decisions
with accurate knowledge based on reality. Instead, we�re here with me
feeling irritated and alienated because of the way this was hidden by what I
can only assume is the fear that should people know you�re not launching
with the complete game, it would hurt your day 1 �Play it before anyone can
install it!� opening.

Even your official press release on the issue carried by dozens of outlets
makes specific mention of multiplayer being present, of the free game, and

So tell the truth next time, and admit what you did this time. If your email
had said �Hey! Multiplayer is going to be late on Kane & Lynch, so to make
up for it heres a free game!� that would have netted you a very positive

new and innovative it�s just heartbreaking to see such blatantly dishonest
sales tactics on display"

This does not seem like a good path Onlive is walking down... I wonder how many other people tried to speak up only to have their questions ignored and deleted.

I dont know if this will work with anyones AmoLED Tv but I hooked up my PC to my Samsung AmoLED tv via HDMI out on both my PC (And of course, HDMI out on the TV as well) And it Looked absolutely amazing! I hooked up a XBOX 360 wireless controller and was playing from my TV (Without a Microconsole) However that doesnt mean I wont be getting a Onlive Microconsole...I hate lugging around my Dell allot so thats why I use my Acer Aspire One Netbook more often... Because I Travel to places...Allot!

Also if you havent noticed AMD dropped the ATi brand :sad:
Now its only Nividia...

(PS: I have 5 Desktops, 7 Laptops, 4 Netbooks, 3 Consoles, 1 Onlive Account, 10 Routers (I'm currently using only one), 40 1 terabyte Hard drives, 22 Rollercoaster models, And 140 Usb PCB Boards Lying auround... I'm a Nerd ADMIT IT!)

one interesting thing to note is that they're giving away a gaming headset. But why would they do that if there's no voice chat? Either this is a facepalm moment or i smell an announcement.
So who's gonna be able to go? I wont unfortunately but someone's gotta represent onlivefans there

also the logitech gamepad very much resembles the ps3 controller. i could be very wrong on this but i think people were having trouble with connecting a ps3 controller to onlive? this could be ur answer
