This is just ignorant. You already made a thread about this and it has been answered.

Really that thread should not have been closed, it wasn't on topic to the old outdated one anyways.

Offering nothing of value!? I'm trying to keep OUR threads from being closed all the time. This site is so uptight, but its the only Onlive forum site with alot of people on it, or else i would leave.

Well, judging by the way tibbon said it, I'd guess it was yet another thread asking if a game was coming to OnLive or not. More then likely, the game in question has already been brought up and if not then we probably have no idea. As has been stated in previous threads, OnLive does not like to give out that information until its good and ready. There are hundreds of threads that have this same theme and you hardly even need to search to find them.

If I'm wrong about the subject then I apologize for the irrelevent post.

Who cares if it's already been brought up! Theres not many new things to talk about right now with Onlive anyway. If people are discussing something thats been discussed before woopdeefuckingdoo, theres not much else to talk about is my point.

LoL, actually, I'd say this is all the Admin's threads. We just get to use it if we follow the rules. We break the rules, we lose the ability to post. If it bothers everyone so much, everyone should make their own threads. Sure less people might show up but at least it would be yours.

I've told you that you should bring up concerns with the moderation team with the moderation team directly. I've mentioned this in threads and via PM.

The topic was asked and answered. Threads on Rock Star and GTA and other similar games can be found in search (http://onlivefans.com/search.php?searchid=594209).

The answer still remains that we don't know anything about the release of those games. If there was something else to answer and discuss then it would be a valid topic, but at this point it simply isn't.

This thread is also being closed. Please bring up any additional concerns with the moderation team directly. Do not create additional threads on this topic. They will be closed, and you will face infractions and/or potential bans.

There's plenty other to talk about. LOTS is happening quickly with Onlive. I'm not arbitrarily closing threads. I'm closing threads that should be closed. If the moderation team feels I should act differently, I will, but you should bring that up directly with the moderation team. Posting here like this makes you look worse, not better.

Maybe the threads wouldn't be closed if people would stop making multiple threads to discuss the same topic. It happens so often it's obnoxious.

Check out these two threads:

http://onlivefans.com/showthread.php?9378-Could-Onlive-get-hacked-like-Sony

http://onlivefans.com/showthread.php?9370-you-can-not-hack-onlive-or-can-you

Both discuss the exact same thing, and both were started on the same day. If people weren't too lazy to check before they post, then the mods wouldn't have to close stuff all the time. So are the mods uptight, or is the community just lazy and/or dumb? hmmmmmmmm

If there's not much to talk about....then just stop talking till there is more. I feel a lock coming down on this one as well but I'm getting a little entertainment out of it.

Why are there so many admins/moderators (same thing?) thats what i don't get.

Here is an answer to your question before I close this thread.

One, the search function works just fine. You can see that there are a bunch of threads discussing what is coming up, what we would like to see, and so on. Half the time threads are misleading making it seem like there are confirmations and all of that. Ones in which we have to chase and change the topics to, or close numerous threads asking the exact same thing.

Two. We have a lot of mods who do different things. Most of the time they are reading through entire threads to make sure that things are on the up and up. Checking to see if they are on topic, if there are fights and arguments, seeing if there is false information being given out, spam, scams, and the like. There is a lot that goes on that you don't see simply because we catch it all way before you guys even see it.

Three. Mods and Admins are not the same thing. It is not an admins job to go through a close threads, delete threads, and all of that. We do it simply to make the mass amount of work the mods have to do already, a little bit lighter.

Four: When we let threads like yours continue, we got a bunch of private messages filling up our boxes or we get people publicly complaining that the boards are cluttered and there are too many same topics being posted. So we have to continue CONSTANTLY closing and redirecting threads.

And finally, if you have a problem with a moderation action, pm me and I will personally review it. Posting threads like THIS ONE isn't really going to do anything. Everyone else seems to feel what was done is fair. As an admin, I feel the same way but we can further discuss this in pm if you would like. Thank you.
