Ok, I'm going to start this as one thread but i guess if the Mods/Admins think it wold be better as one thread per game, just notify me and i'll change the title! Anyway, on with the post:

The first idea for a game that will benefit from OnLive would be KwonHo.
Quite an unknown game that was hosted on Ijji (and HanGame) for a time during its Beta but suffered from excessive lag issues and generally bad online excperience. The game however was amazing. It featured multiple, realistic martial art classes and had a great level up system where you had a numberical level and learned new skills at different levels. Items were not permenant so to dress up your character you had to keep playing and rebuying the items. Features like that could be scrapped and this idea was to make the money from "G Coins" where you woulld use real money to buy coins to purchase items.

Here is a link to the wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KwonHo

Now, the reason I think this could do well on OnLive is that they could scrap the G Coin idea and replace it with a one off (or rental) charge. Since there are no servers running, the sheer power of the OnLive servers would be able to play this game without out sourcing servers. It wouldn't be much of a strain on the servers, no more than the same amount of people playing a high end offline game. This would resolve all server issues and could deliver a great online only OnLive experience which COULD be an exclusive if OnLive buy the rights to it ;)

Discuss? :)

My second idea is: Mount and Blade.

This game was awesome, i never actually bought it because I'm not a PC gamer and never before had access to credit cards but i played the trial (allowed to level up to level 6) about 50 times and well all i can say is... One of the best simple rpgs there is. Allows for amazing combat and shortly after i started to write this i realise a new video has been posted http://www.gametrailers.com/player/47390.html . This shows new features and apparently its going to support online now, perfect for OnLive as its a simple game and original resgistration was incredibly cheap so the devloper could truly benefit from this. The game was also great for mods (people creating mods that totally altered the game), so it would seem like a good idea for the publisher to get some of the best mods, polish them off and upload them as small, cheap packages =D

Any feedback? Also, guys, please post your ideas of games that OnLive could make much better with a good community and being shown to the mainstream

Yeah would be fun to have more discussion about the mmo games.

I rember playing KwonHo...i loved it but i lost because of really big latency.. like 2sec... and i never could perform any combos :(...

I am also intrested to know how publishing onlive would work, like would it be justlike xbox live?

I'd like to see some classic arcade games from the late 70's and early 80's (Asteroids, Pac Man, Donkey Kong, etc.)

Something like Mame, with all the ROMs they can get. Legally of course...

Agreed Cyrus, servers were terrible. Also good idea - I think they should compile the games into volumes for Old games since they are relatively small and could have many playing on one server at a time.

Runescape...

This game is getting run over with crowded servers, cruddy graphics, and lag.

With OnLive... no lag, no crowded servers, no more dumb loading times, way better graphics, bigger world. You name it, OnLive can fix it.

Great idea aph0ticshield!! Can't believe i never thought of that one. Its a game that was so addictive but because of its "aged" graphics most people knock it off as being rubbish. Servers are crowded and OnLive servers would be beneficial and not to mention it stands for what Jagex have tried to achieve all the time (a lag free service that works on any computer without a download required). So they could upgrade the graphics (not to HD level of course but just better) and set it up OnLive.

That really is an amazing idea! I loved runescape but it got annoying when they ran like Forrest Gump with out bending there legs xD

If they upgraded to runescape vs 3 it would look better and anyone could play. Only thing is I don't think jagex would like the idea since then they wouldn't get a monthly fee charge for them. maybe just every month they would update the server or something making it a new game you had to pay for. They could find a way to make runescape fun again!

It would be pretty cool if onlive hosted some of the more popular flash games. I know flash games aren't going to die out any time soon, but it's just a suggestion.
