Please keep in mind, this is not the finished product as Eddie (admin) and I have to work out kinks and details.

Futhermore any text, categories, etc are all just filler used for designing in WordPress so that I can style things and see how everything looks.

Hope ya'll like it.

Felt I should also note that once it goes live if anyone notices any bugs with it, forward it to admin as always, but also forward me a copy as it may be glitches in the theme code that I will have an answer to.

It actually doesn't look too bad. I am a fan.

Awesome! I think this is what OFS's biggest problem was! Though one thing...
The color on the ON and FANS is darker than the color scheme on the website. Its noticeable, really noticeable.

Also, the blog looks like a joke right now. The header looks like it was done in MS Paint.
EDIT: I'm talking about the older header for the blog.

Fixed up the paragraph spacing, also added some widget space at the bottom for admin to have some nice functionality on the website. Other minor changes to make it less cluttered feeling when reading. I think you guys will like this version once it goes up.

The header looks good, except for one thing. While the games featuring Duke Nukem, Lebron, and Kane and Lynch may be somewhat relevant right now, what's going to happen several months down the line when these games are going to age even more and won't truly be representative of what's available on the platform?

I understand it's kinda tough in this situation because OnLive doesn't really have any sort of mascot or any character that's iconic to the platform. Personally, I like what you did with the forum header. That long line of screens is pretty much the most recognizable image that OnLive currently has. It shows exactly what the platform is all about. Perhaps we should stick with that or maybe make it more prominent in the header.

I think it'd be nice to have a horizontal navbar under the header, too.

Just my two cents, though.

Thanks for the feedback everyone! I'm constantly working on this while I have the free time to do so this weekend, so hopefully by the end of it we can have something everyone enjoys.

I actually planned on maintaining that through the lifetime of the design. Switching them in and out. I'm also toying with the idea of a rotating series of header images each featuring a different game/character (IE: every time you visit, you get a random header) since the file size of the header itself really isn't large (about 80k if I remember correctly), so it wouldn't be sucking up too much bandwidth.

Thanks for the compliment on the forum header. :)

I understand where you're coming from on that. I'll mock something up and we'll see how everyone feels about it. -or- It could be included in that rotating series of headers.

No worries, navbar is definitely on the way.

Basically, expect the whole thing to get a lot shinier and polished up by this time tomorrow. Friday was about laying down the design, today was about laying down the main structural code, and tomorrow will be all about putting the shine on it.

Stay tuned folks!

It's always good to put a picture on most post to grab attention, and make it easier on the eyes to look at the page.

keep it up!

Not bad I was going to say I dislike the navigation bar but as you're planning on changing it nice stuff so far. Hopefully at this years E3 Steve will announce a new exclusive title which should give you something to fix Dracula's issue.
