I want to play this game again. It was one of the funnest games.
I played it all of the time on 3d0.
Are there any other games like this?
2 years ago i tried playing it again because i still have that system but my disc is scratched up and got stuck in the begining of the game. i wish they'd remake it or do a part 2

Oh yea, it would help the game move a bit more quickly as well. I for one am a huge fan of these types of games.

i heard the 3d0 emu isn't very good. if you have a 3d0 just download the cd copy and burn it. 3d0 has no protection againsts burned cds
there is also a saturn and dos version but the dos version has sucky midi music.

I believe it does. Neo Geo CD supposedly had that problem too.

It was weird. Supposedly, they used a few different types of batteries that were different sizes. Some worked well, some failed quickly.
Speaking of 3DO, anyone remember that horrible Demolition Man game?

i have demolition man. hated it. my brother liked it though
Another game that sucked -and i dont know why i use to play it- was Way of the Warrior.. i kept playing it because of how strange and stupid it seemed. also to discover it's secrets, like it's odd ways of killing
The best Fatalities i've ever seen at the time were actually on segaCD's Eternal Champions.
The 3d0 did have a surprizing amount of decent games for the time.. but i wish i had just skipped that system and invested more into sega saturn.. because i was juggling n64/ps/saturn/3d0 and it's just too annoying having so many things hooked up
i missed out on all of those good marvel/street fighter saturn games.. which makes no sense considering it's my favorite types of games to play & love the marvel fighters.

With the Neo Geo, you knew what you were getting. At least I did. You were not getting arcade ports, but the ACTUAL arcade games. It was awesome. 3DO was a shot in the dark to push new tech. It was just too expensive.

Just tossing this out there but I think there's a PC version that's deemed abandonware, so you can get it for free. (Check out abandonia.)

i was stupid and traded in my neo geo to help buy the 3d0. .. in a way it was worth it in that neo geo didn't have hardly anything beyond fighting games. Which is probably my favorite genre.. but i really did have a blast playing Alone in the Dark, The Horde, Star Control, Crash n' Burn, Total Eclipse, Killing Time, Gardian Wars... and Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo was actually just as good as any neo geo game.
But if i had just waited i could have gotten most of those on ps1 or saturn.
The horde was probably the number 1 3d0 game for me. Even today i often think about that game.
With neo geo i loved how the games were the actual arcade games. That use to blow me away.
As soon as i got a neo i had a dual custom arcade-stick built by "Massytems" for it so that it looked just like a neo geo machine with the colored buttons and a happ bat stick.
That made all the difference.
Then when i sold the neo and got a 3d0 i pad-hacked a 3d0 controller to work with the stick so i could play SSF2Turbo

my favorite neo games though were Samurai Shodown series, King of Fighters 98, Magician Lord, Nam 1975, Art of Fighting series, and Metal Slug series.
I dont know which i liked the most. They were all so good. I had world heroes and some others but i didn't care much for that series.

I ended up buying an empty official Neo Geo arcade cab complete with game cards to put in the slots in the top. I have my Neo Geo in it and rewired sticks. It is amazing. It even accepts coins (not that you need them lol).
I liked World Heros a lot.
