I mean PS3 has a playstation store as well as Xbox has its own concept... Why not have MAME as onlives concept? Granted it be awesome to play arcade games on your onlive system. Even get Neo geo/snk to join a setup.. and offer back log of their collection and offer their newer games for a price... Samurai Showdown 6? hehe It wouldn't be hard to integrate a multiplayer concept even if its a simple one n one fight lol (Again same as usual doubt it will happen ever) But what is all your opinions on that?

Licensing would be the problem with that idea.

lol yeah I know, just tossing ideas out minus the legal details lol But Since Sega is a partner, be kinda cool to do a playpack expansion concept.. Make the Sega pack avail for those that want it... Once you purchase it it gets integrated into your play pack and Neo Geo/ snk is looking around be kind of cool if Onlive persuade them into a partnership for their games and back log and create and snk/neo geo play pack expansion be a good way for Onlive to make a few extra bucks as well as the companies that do agree there of... And with Mame it would be a good workaround for the arcade titles since they do support controller formats as a whole. But again I know it isn't going to happen due to legal concepts lol can still dream ;-) lol

I would rather play the arcade games on a real Game Cabinet.

i disagree. It would be awesome if Onlive could somehow get a bunch (like 100s of) perfect arcade ports from the late 80s and 90. Maybe up to current Arcade games.

Get some Double Dragon! lol Smash TV, Darkstalker series, Street fighter series, X-men Children of the Atom, n Neo Geo Dodge ball! lol come on that screams onlive multiplayer haha

There are some arcade collections out there already that I think could be ported over. Also, some of the ownership of some games has expired. I wouldn't mind if they could look into it. At least the cames that have at this point become abandonware.

Aye indeed and there is sooo many Gem arcade games that are buried in there that would be epic fun, and again multi player wouldn't be really hard to operate at all... Would love my bird eye view almost impossible shooters lol :D :D

Your not getting the full experience. Playing these games on a real arcade cabinet is the best experience you would ever have.

I agree with that as well. I would love nothing more than to stand around with friends and play Dungeons and Dragons: Shadows of Mysteria with my friends like I do every summer. However, the arcades are all drying up. If I didn't live next to the iconic Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, I would never get to do that. It is really sad. A big part of my childhood has gone due to this fact. That is why Mame is VERY important to me. Without it, I would never be able to relive many of those memories.

Now, with Mame on my tower and my XBox, I can invite my friends over and play the same games we have played over the last 14 years. It is new and improved now with beer in the mix. Not to mention the 4 X-Arcade joysticks I have. It is seriously and event. Mame is something that must go on!

Sanat Cruz!! lol Dude we Neighbors haha I miss my Arcades here many years ago and the old Nickle Arcade is gone from San Ramon :( I totally Agree that the actual arcade experience is best.. I mean nothing funner then popping in a few quarters or tokens what ever the place offers and off you go.... In some cases we where stimulating the economy at 1-4 quarters a minute haha But am Sad at the fact that most of these arcade games will be in the hands of the mame folks.. Like me and Nikopwr here. I love my arcade games but as a whole the console has murdered these noble classics to almost none existent.. at least here in the bay area... So I rely on Mame to play these arcades I even went as far as getting a usb fighters stick... you know the type and created my own kinda cabinet concept lol
