What things are made possible by OnLive?
One of the biggest headaches for video game publishers is piracy. Not only piracy but "hacking" and cheating in their games. Clearly these will both be challenges for OnLive as well but made easier to combat due to the client computer not actually storing any of the title's data. The first "hacks" will likely be input hacks, like turbo for instance, easily squashed with a quick fix.
This then brings to the floor the possibility of 100% cheater free tournaments. Also, games that are developed exclusively for the OnLive service will have no need for anti-cheat code, freeing up much needed developing time.
This brings me to my next point; developers no longer need to worry about the client's machine and can now create photo realistic games thus bringing us ever closer to true virtual reality. With OnLive's ever increasing computing power, clearly the games in the not too distant future are going to be absolutely mind blowing.
What else is possible with OnLive?
