This is the upcoming only non OnLive game I'm really psyched about, and I know a few others here are interested in it.

The Firefall team is at PAX this week, so there's been a handful new (p)reviews come out lately that have been discussing the changes that have happened since the last major event, the good news? It seems to be nothing but positive.


I was pleasantly surprised by FireFall. There are a lot of things to like about it, including competently executed class-based gameplay and what sounds like a very robust player progression system. FireFall even sports a nice, cel-shaded cartoon aesthetic. The surprising part is that FireFall is completely free.

G4TV has given a good amount of detail about the new scout type battle frame they debuted called The Recon, as well has how the team based combat modes are scored.


In order to actually get a point for a kill, you must both lower their health to zero, and also execute them. Execute takes a few seconds to perform; you hold the "E" button for a few seconds to pull it off.
