Firstly I would like to congratulate everyone at Onlive for bringing forward the future. I hope this hasn't been posted before, if there is one I can't find it.
Suggestions:
1) Europe release. Probably the biggest market after the US or possibly Japan. I am fom the UK and would be very much agrieved if this did not make it to the UK
2) Very cheap. Xbox live price and no more than £60/ $120 a year. THis would pull it ahead of the pack by so many miles it would be untouchable
3) Support for controllers on other controllers; PS3 and 360 (Don't know if the Wii is a possibility.
4) Trophy or achievement style awards. Many gamers including myself love these and would expand the experience.
5) Exclusive games that have grphics and gamplay that are beyound even the 'next gen console'
These are my suggestions and I may add to them in the future. Good luck Onlive and I hope it succeeds.

1. If its successful in the US i'm sure they will expand it.
2. Of course it will be cheaper, you don't have to invest in any hardware besides a cheap computer!
3. I doubt this will happen, too many licensing/patent issues and such. None of the big 3 would want to promote their competitor by allowing compability like that.
4. This is a great idea. Gamers love to have this. Maybe they could have some sort of global ranking that ranks them among every single OnLive user as a factor of how much/well they have completed each of their games? Like a universal leaderboard?
5. This is a definite possibility. Imagine the power that cloud computing could have? Its simply endless, there is no way any single console or computer could overpower this, so long as it works properly.

I think the webcam is built in to the program, and you can use the 360 controller.

5) Exclusive games that have grphics and gamplay that are beyound even the 'next gen console'
Both of these have been announced. For instance, type Geni4 in youtube. PS3 controllers will only work if they offer a wireless to USB device. 360 wired and wireless(with wireless to USB) will work. Same with the keyboard, mouse, joysticks, custom inputs. This will be much like a plug and play PC.
My suggestions are...
1)Don't make it more expensive than wow, though I know the start up costs are high.
2)Wi-Fi on microconsole. Contrary to popular belief, Wi-Fi only adds 1ms to 2ms of lag.
3)Call my ISP and make sure they don't throttle my internet(I'm dead serious).
4)Instead of stuffing all the servers in 3 co-lo's, why not put a smaller amount in all 48 continental united states? Then let those interact with each other for multiplayer. Lag much less that way. For instance I am 2 states over from California and that adds about 20ms of latency.
5)Let those servers interact for seamless fiberoptic multiplayer.
6)Make sure there is enough GPU's to go around.
7)Please, Oh please, just make it work!

1) I am from the UK as well and I'm quite honestly I will be gutted if we dont get it over here - even more gutted if they just fob us off making us play on american servers? Latencey would be 200 ms the way the crow flies - not to mention that through fibre optics it bens all over the place and then it has to go throguh different mediums and well.. yea... Wouldn't be worth playing.
2) They said a cost on par with Xbox's Live service could be a business model they will show and the same person said they think the console will come free with a years subscription (just some person demostrating the service at one of the booths i believe).
3) Not fussed about controller support? I'd like to try out the new OnLive controller (and hope they bring OnLive headsets), the fact we can use any compatable keyboard/mouse setup or USB controllers is a bonus?
4) We need trophy/achievement support!! They said they will be broadcasting the top players currently playing the game - wouldn't it be great if this went on achievements earned etc? Since they have such a LARGE focus on player profiles etc (the screen of which i'd liek to see remodeled - looks too cluttered), I think achievements are a must.
5) Couldn't agree more. In fact we need exclusive games, full stop. They have shown of Mova but... Mova isn't a game developer - Mova are going be lending their technology to InHouse developers or perhaps third parties who want to make exclusives. This needs to go full force, OnLive need to be active about exclusives if they want success... Dont be like Sony and allow other consoles to take them all.
To the above person:
Yes!!! We need Wi-Fi... I only have a single moderm running into a Wireless router. I can't run an ethernet to where i want my micro console so why cant it have a wireless reciever? Lets hope it has one built in that they have been telling up about or at least - lets hope they have an official connector that isn't too expensive like 360s.

Not at the moment. They mention other wireless features(Such as the controller), but not WI-FIhttp://cdn.onlive.com/images/1/web_microconsole.png

1.) Don't worry guys, as long as it gets a decent welcome here in the us, then no doubt it will expand.
2.) They have already stated the prices will be comparable to xbox live, but you can't blame them if it is a little bit more expensive, considering you won't be throwing down up to $600 to start off using it like when the ps3 or the 360 first came out. and they will be upgrading constantly, so no matter if it is over the price of xbox live, as long as it is somewhere close in price range, that will still be a steal.
3.)I don't think there will be any support for the ps3 controller, because they would specifically have to get the rights to get it to work on the microconsole or the pc version, but the 360 controller will defiantly work on the pc/mac onlive because microsoft already has it setup (the wired 360 controller) to work as a universal pc contoller and a damn good one at that. Also, I posted up a thread already, but I am pretty sure the 360 controller will work on the microconsole too, because it has 2 usb ports in the front and they said any pc controller will work with it. They didn't say 360 in specificley, and I can imagine why not because they have already probably stirred up a hornets nest over at microsoft, but yea, its a solid pc controller and is known for that (the wired one that is) so I am pretty sure it will work on the microconsole as well.
4.) I haven't heard about trophys/achievements for it, but after the 360s great success in achievements, and sony having no problem following, I think they will realize that this is a large asset at some point and will defiantly implement it.
5.)This will only be possible through us. They might add a crappy game or two maybe at launch for onlive, but nothing big. Developers are going to sit back and see what happens. If we support onlive and make sure it is successful then this will be a must, and within six months after release, there will be titles in development for it and nothing else, but again, they are only going to do it if the system shows a true potential in keeping up, or even surpassing/ruining the current consoles.
and as for the comment about wifi on the microcnosle, I also agree. I todays age, it seems less and less people are using the ethernet cords and more and more are just jumping on wireless networks either at home, work, school, wherever. I was actually kind of amazed that they put support for 4 wireless controllers, 4 bluetooth headsets, hdmi, optical sound and all this other high end stuff, but no wifi, didn't make any sense. Maybe they are still working on getting it worked into the model, who knows.

If I got in the beta that would be my first suggestion, no doubt. I always hated how the Xbox 360 charged $100 just for the wireless add on. I did a workaround though and ran the Ethernet into my laptop and bam... wireless.

I want a 1 day rental. This way I can just pay for when some kids come over and prevent them from running arround the house.

Nice idea rasmasyean but the only trouble is people might rent a game for 5 days, decide they dont like it then not buy or rerent. On the other hand, a 1 day rent will be alot less money and so those same people will be paying less. Its not as finacially viable. However most games are going to come with a demo apparently and since theres no downloads, you'll easily be able to keep those kids entertained.

I was thinking more on the lines of renting ALL games (or at least a group) for a flat daily rate. This way you can play many games. Of course this is more than a monthly rental / 30. But that's how it usually works.
I understand the developer's cut issue. But perhaps they can implement some payout plan based on popularity. Like the popular titles get a bigger share of the profits on top of a base liscense fee. Like how TV royalties are paid.

I really don't think the dev's would be in favor of that. They will no longer have control over their prices, but I can see it being like Netflix eventually... games included in subscription, eventually. That will be a really long time in the future when OnLive really has controlling power, similar to what Walmart has. You know that Walmart controls what they buy they products for and not the producers.

That's not gonna happen. They will "own" your brag clips. If anything they might show it in their own web site with their own advertisements.
That won't stop creative ways of extracting video, but I'm sure that will violate copyrights.

Well, you can capturecard NetFlix streams too.
If it says Onlive "Brag clips" on it then it's up to them to decide how you can use it, usually. Because if they wan't they can exclusively use it on thier own site rather than give google the traffic. They could be nice about it, who knows. But less than likely

Sound's funny, but I bet stuff like that would be a huge hit on a service like this. Imagine the possiblities of trading and vitual card games? Lag is even irrelevant.

The answer to question 4 is developer dependent. The question is whether or not it will be unified across all Onlive games.
The answer to question 5 is also developer dependent, but I am pretty sure it will happen.
I expect the Brag clips to be easy to upload to Youtube, but I don't see why it would be necessary, most of the people who would want to watch it would be able to through Onlive.
My suggestions would include Global Expansion, including linking all datacenters with fiber optics to allow server-server interaction, as well as expanding to more forms of entertainment. Why not include TV, movies, and even live events?
The more compatibility with existing peripherals the better, including xbox 360 and ps3 controllers.

There are other companies into this as we know. There are prolly even more hidden projects that we don't know about since they didn't think OnLive was a threat enough to make them reveal themselves. These would likely be lik in Japan or UK. If there were already 3 firms "going live" this year...why would this idea not have been thought of by people outside the US.
One thing for sure is that this prolly ain't cheap. It's one thing to open up regions within a country where there's a potential market. It's another thing to start a world corporation over night. Whoever has some exclusive IP that's much better than the rest will prolly win in the end. But that's not so say any IP holder wouldn't liscense thier stuff to someone else to do something similar in a non-competative market reagion.
