Nice desktops guys. I'm still on XP with the preset background. You can really see why OnLive appeals to me lol (my PC sucks just as bog standard as my desktop).

That's the object dock. If you run standard icons, it only takes a very minimal amount of system memory and looks nice.

I found the theme via www.DeviantArt.com. Also, you can find customizations for the object dock there, like different icons, etc.

Windows 7 is infinite % better. It feels like XP again, but is a lot, lot cooler. It is a mesh of the best of XP, Vista and believe it or not, the Mac. No more stupid sidebar either.

ehh, windows 7 is defiantly better, but at the same time, after looking up current info on it, the beta build that we are all using is no where near the final product. By the time it comes out it is gonna have so many more features and it is going to be awesome!

And they really redesigned a lot of it to be way more power friendly than vista will still making sure that it was a step up.

yea, actually, i just used the site that objectdock recommended, www.wincustomize.com it seemed to have a lot of stuff for objectdock. You did mention that site in an earlier post, but I couldn't seem to find anything for objectdock in it. Maybe I just wasn't looking in the right place, but seemed more like a amateur art site and less of a computer theme site.

If you look under the customization category, you'll find it. DeviantArt isn't amateur :p it's got a lot of the same stuff you'll find on WinCustomize, and some other stuff. If you're looking for icons, definitely use DA as it seems to have a larger selection.
