A video of Gaikai streaming Mass Effect 2 on Linux. Looks like Gaikai didn't have
technical problems with it.

Wow, either the recording is bad or the framerate is horrible when running through Gaikai.

It's the recording, I played it this morning and it runs as smooth as it does locally on my PC.

I've entered into the beta with another account. I finally got through once. It seems pretty random though.

I couldn't get in, kept saying my connection wasn't fast enough.. It is only a 6 mb connection but OnLive works why shouldn't Gaikai.

Still OnLive is going to be better, in my opinion. :)

The problem with Gaikai is the limitation of a browser. I've not seen one game run fullscreen on there (at the correct resolution), and the games re-size themselves automatically depending on the game that is being played. I don't think you can get controller support on there either.

The reason Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age Origins will have issues running on OnLive is because the UI for PC and Console are completely different. PC has a UI that is made for a Keyboard & Mouse combination, while the Console UI is made for a controller. We already know that Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age Origin run just fine on OnLive, the UI issue is the only problem I think.

And that whole EA pulled the license for the games after I had already purchased Dragon Age and played it for almost a month losing my saves and ability to complete the game......

That's what happens when you purchase things on a beta service. The same things happen with F2P MMO Betas. However, I would expect to see majority of the EA titles appear in the Back Catalog section they plan to launch in December. They've stated that 50 games will be on the service before the end of the year, and since they used to have a nice list of older titles on the service from EA it seems like a good chance they would just re-add them.

I have to keep using a diffrent email each time though.

Still says I still got a bad connection to that.
