Its come out now that the FCC will reclasify under Title II.
This will save Onlive. But we also need Markey's Congressional Neutrality mandate and we apparently need Neutral search as well.
Imagine what these telecom.cable firms were trying to do. It would be like them suddenly busting into peoples cars and installing chips and a taxi style meter and saying now your car is going to work just like it was on rails you can only go where we have rail and that's if you get our permission and we have the right to charge you premiums, oh and gas is still on you. Then imagine the police trying to stop them but you see the police being pulled back at least momentarily by bought and paid for types who weren't even in office anymore. I think the average person would clearly recognize this as criminal behavior.
All the old forms of media and mediums and even their economic systems need to need go away sooner rather than later. Perlman seems to be great at introducing technologies that get parasitic systems out of the way and empower people.
