if i had an onlive system and say for example i was playin call of duty 4 (just an example) and my friend owns a 360 and is playin it on xbox.. would i b able to play with them? or is it like ps3 can pnly play with ps3 xbox only xbox and onlive only onlive? i assume its just onlive to onlive but ya never no!

question number 2: how will it handle game saves...? will it save them onto a hardrive? or what? like if i was playin the campaign on call of duty 4 (again just an example) and i saved my progress how would i be able to access that save the next day/week/month/year?

sorry if this was posted somewhere if it was just send a link... i didnt find anything...

Well, it definitely will not be cross platform with the PS3 or Xbox 360 because M$ and Sony would not allow it, but cross-platforming with the PC is possible but not set up. If OnLive got with the developers than multiplayer gaming with the PC could work, but will not be available at the beta of OnLive. It also may not be available at the launch either. We will have to see.

Yes, OnLive will have massive hard-drives that will save your current game state so that you can open it back up again at a later time on either your PC, Mac, or Microconsole.

You will probably be able to access the gamestate as long as you have a current subscription. You will most likely be able to access this gamestate forever.

Aphot nailed this one. :)

Mee, I'd recommend watching the GDC unveiling. It covers some points you bring up, and may answer some other questions: http://onlivefans.com/showthread.php?t=74
