In my admittedly brief time among the OLF community, there has been a deluge of speculative threads in the Onlive Discussion & Information board. I'm referring, of course, to the "What if Onlive had X" threads.
It's my personal opinion that these threads ultimately have nothing to do with the Onlive service or the games available on it, beyond the "well, what if they DID have it" factor that permeates them. Whether it's the third "Should Onlive get emulators?!" thread of the month, or yet another "Onlive should get Fallout 3 and Skyrim!" thread, they provide no productive discussion about the service, and as such shouldn't be there.
Rather than shunt these threads to the existing cesspool of orphan threads (The "Everything Else" section, of course), I propose that a new Onlive-related board be created to house these threads. Namely, "Onlive Speculation". It would be a place where people could philosophize about what features/games Onlive should TOTALLY GET RIGHT NOW in peace, without clogging up the board meant for legitimate Onlive-related discussions.
