ok well i have my modem and my router in my computer room. but in my room i don't have anything. it works because right now i got a ps3 and it connects wirelessly. But i don't know if you need to connect the micro console straight into your connection. will it be able to connect wirelessly or have a wireless adapter or something?

Well, technically, the console is not released yet. But I'm sure when it is, you will have an option to buy an attachment at least. I don't imagine they expect everyone to run a CAT5 cable to their TV's these days.
One thing you might want to look into at the time is a better gaming router. D-Link sells a pretty good one and you can prioritize traffic.

Does anyone here have FiOS? If so, is the wireless router they provide adequate for OnLive?

You'd need a high-quality router, AFAIK. But I'd assume OnLive will sell some expensive adapter like the 360 does, which will pick up wireless.

Well different providers offer different routers and some do not offer routers at all. Pretty much any wireless router with 'wireless g' or 'wireless n' will work with only a 1ms to 2ms delay. (Which I own)

Like I said above, high-quality routers are not needed. Go buy the cheapest one like the linksys wireless g.
By the time the beta is over, I wouldn't be surprised if the microconsole has wireless built in. Most PCs and Macs have wireless built in and if they don't you can get them for cheap.
Easy workaround, I use it for Xbox Live all the time...
Step 1... Plug Xbox, microconsole, (You name it), into Laptop
Step 2... Open up Network Connections on the PC
Step 3... Select BOTH the wireless and the wired connections at the same time
Step 4... Right click, select Bridge Connections.
Step 5... You are now connected to the internet! (You may need to reboot the xbox or microconsole)

To be honest with you I really don't think they will include wireless in the micro console simply to keep costs down. At least during their conference, I thought they made it pretty clear they were going to try to keep the cost of the micro-console down as much as possible.

You mean internet connection sharing? Doesn't that like put a software overhead to your latency?

I thought they said that the cost was really cheap currently, not that they were trying to cut costs. Anyway, adding a $10-$30 wireless adapter (If they buy in bulk) will not be that much money to add on to one of those things.
Also if enough people request wireless during the beta, the customer is always right.:D

For all you mac users out there, this works for the mac too. Although I believe it adds a little latency to your overall connection speed, rather than if you went directly through a wireless adapter.:(

This might be able to help.

Funny you should mention that Aph0tic ;) I'm using the LINKSYS Wireless-G router with SpeedBooster. I never realised how fast its latency was, i thought it was more like 50-100ms. Lets hope they have a built in wi-fi reciever. If it costs anything near the Xbox one over here it will be £50-£70...

Dang, still despise the price of that wireless adapter, stupid thing is that it's price is equal to routers themselves. :(

Yup, my bog standard Linksys wireless-g cost me £70, the launch price over here of the Xbox wireless adapter.

i would assume they would put wireless in, just because people want it and some truly need it. I believe steve perlman or somewhere i read that any wireless usb card will work with onlive.

That would be amazing. I could go buy the cheapest one on the market and plug it in. I hate how the Xbox sells their wireless cards for a $70 markup-making it $100. They aren't even exactly a special low latency kind either, they are just the run of the mill wireless "g".
